The Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen Analgesia Systems deliver nitrous oxide (N2O) and oxygen (O2) which is inhaled through a mouthpiece or mask, providing your patients control through self-administration. The patients breathe normally through their mouth, and within a few short minutes they will start to feel the relaxing anxiolytic effects of the gas mixture. The effects of nitrous oxide wear off within 5 minutes after the last inhalation of the N2O/O2 mixture. Demand flow systems are simple and easy to use by providing a fixed 50/50 mixture of N2O and O2. Continuous flow systems allow you to adjust both the flow and percentage mixture from 0-70% N2O to achieve the desired patient experience. Continuous flow systems can also be “capped” at 50/50.
